Cover Letter Review
November 1, 2010
During the cover letter review, I learned how to show who I was on paper.  I didn't know what a cover letter was and had no idea of the importance of it. I learned that the employer would read the cover letter in place of an interview.  Obviously an interview would be best, but when that is not possible, the cover letter is supposed to represent you as an interview would.

Mock Interview

The Mock Interview helped me know what an interview would be like.  I didn't know how to answer the question "what is a weakness you have?"  I better understand how to answer this question and I also got a list of common questions that a company may ask.

Resume Review
November 1, 2010
During the Resume Review, I learned the importance of your bullet points.  I understand how to better show what you did at each job or past experience. You should change your resume for each job you apply for and make it apply to that specific job.

Career Workshop
November 9, 2010
During the career workshop I learned how important networking is in getting a job.  It is so important if you want to get a job and it is crucially important if you want to break off and start your own company.  You need to have a list of clients before you start a company.  I also learned the importance of being able to do a "me in 30 seconds" and what should be said in that.
